Hospital Pharmacist Remote Order Entry

Cardinal Health Remote Pharmacy Services is currently searching for a highly energetic and clinically oriented pharmacist to join our remote pharmacy team.  Pharmacists will utilize their clinical skills to remotely service patients, and provide a top notch continuity of care. 

Anticipate hours to be 5pm-8:30pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-6pm Sundays 7 on 7 off (Wednesday through Tuesday)

Responsibilities:

Answering Video Calls for Patients and Counseling Patients on new MedicationsAnswering clinical questions from patientsDocumenting patient interactionMay be cross trained to support inpatient remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification

Qualifications:

Active pharmacy license(s) in state of residence as well as state of original licensure.Active CA license requiredMust reside in CA2-4 years of experience preferred. Ability to gain reciprocity to additional states required for practice.Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems.Excellent communication skills to enable the successful interactions with other healthcare professionals to facilitate the delivery of competent clinical care.

Anticipated hourly range: $54.60 per hour - $77.89 per hour based on experience
