Job Title: Pharmacist - Part-time

Job Description

As a pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of prescription data within the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include reviewing prescriptions, verifying clinical data, and conducting drug utilization reviews to ensure that medication, dosage, strength, directions, quantity, and patient information are correct. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and quality in prescription handling.

ResponsibilitiesReview and verify prescriptions entering and leaving the pharmacy.Ensure clinical, quality, and drug utilization reviews are accurate.Confirm appropriate medication, dosage, strength, directions, and quantity.Handle inbound and outbound calls from doctor's offices and provider offices regarding prescriptions.Conduct outbound calls to pharmacies or members as needed.Provide patient and family education on medication over the phone.Essential SkillsPharmacy expertisePharmD qualificationRetail pharmacy experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsProficient computer skillsKnowledge of Microsoft applicationsWork Environment

The role is based in a closed-door pharmacy located in Temple Terrace, FL. Working hours are Monday through Thursday, with shifts from either 10 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 3 PM. The position requires standing for 8 hours per shift and involves a dynamic work environment with movement around the pharmacy.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
