The Saint Patrick Hospital Internship program is a multiple year progressive program that is broken up into three steps (levels). Each step is designed to prepare the pharmacy intern to function as a competent hospital pharmacist. This will be accomplished through pharmacist preceptor guidance, where advancement through each step is based on year of school, knowledge base, and ability to demonstrate proficiency in each area. Advancement is an earned privilege that only occurs when the Intern has fully demonstrated his or her competency in each particular area.
