Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant/Pharmacy technician/pharm tech/pharmacy clerk Job Description As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will handle inventory and warehouse duties, ensuring the proper storage of drugs and supplies. You will also monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units, and manage daily box preparation work. The role includes creating or fixing shipping labels, bringing packages to shipping, and monitoring prescription drug inventory within the pharmacy computer system. You will assist with receiving inventory, ensure accurate product receipt, and help resolve discrepancies. Cycle counting activities and order processing are also part of the job. Responsibilities + Ensure proper storage and refrigeration of drugs and supplies. + Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment. + Fill dispensing units accurately. + Prepare daily boxes and manage shipping labels. + Bring packages to shipping Mail and Courier as needed. + Monitor prescription drug inventory within the pharmacy computer system. + Receive inventory and ensure accurate product receipt. + Assist with discrepancy resolution. + Maintain proper storage of prescription drug inventory. + Perform cycle counting activities and complete order processing. Essential Skills + Pharmacy knowledge. + Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. + Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma/GED or higher OR 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting. + Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License and registration OR the ability to obtain licensure before hire. Work Environment The work environment offers two shift options: (1) Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 3:00pm, and Friday from 6:00am to 10:00am, or (2) Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Occasional overtime may be requested based on business needs but is not expected.
