05197 Pharmacy Technician I STRHS-Lawrenceburg Job Description 3.31.2017 Job Summary Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist. Reports to: Pharmacy Supervisor FLSA: Non-exempt Essential Functions Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. Fills medication carts on a daily basis. Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department. Repackages bulk medications. Nonessential Functions • Perform other duties as assigned.• Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service, projects and committees as assigned.• Adheres to and supports policies and procedures of the STRHS.• Works scheduled shifts including overtime, when neccessary.• Accepts all call schedule as directed.• Maintains a neat and professional appearance in compliance to the existing dress code.
