Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a basic in-house role. This position involves filling prescriptions, managing inventory, and working in a high-volume pharmacy setting. We value long-term pharmacy experience and strong customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities
+ Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
+ Manage and organize pharmacy inventory.
+ Articulate and compartmentalize inventory effectively.
+ Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare providers.
+ Perform data entry tasks accurately.
+ Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to support operations.
Essential Skills
+ Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
+ Experience in high-volume pharmacy settings.
+ Strong customer service and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with automation machines, specifically Pyxis.
+ Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Work Environment
The work environment is relaxed and supportive, with no micromanagement and no strict dress code. Employees can enjoy music or wear headphones while working. The pharmacy operates as a closed-door facility.
Flexible scheduling options are available, with shifts from 9am-5:30pm, 11am-7:30pm, 12pm-8:30pm, or 2:30pm-11pm from Monday to Friday. Rotating weekends are required, starting every other week and potentially moving to once a month. Weekend shifts are full 8-hour days, with days off provided during the week.
Overtime is compensated at a rate of 1.4 times the regular pay rate. Team support is a core part of our culture.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
