DHS does not participate in E-Verify. Forensic Services on the campus of the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center has an exciting new opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician! While working under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical services you will also be responsible for the following: + Set up medications and supplies for nursing units across the campus; including Self-Administered Medications + Review reports for expired medications + Reconcile all stocking and communicate follow-up tasks to the stockers as needed + File dispensing reports monthly + Stock and maintain ADMs per pharmacy procedures + Complete monthly medication room checks **Minimum Qualifications** Applicants must have a valid driver's license and meet **ONE** of the following four (4) requirements: + Completed vocational/technical program or certification in Pharmacy Technology: Associate in Applied Science degree or Pharmacy; + Possess current national certification as pharmacy technician; + Have one year of pharmacy technician experience that includes assisting a Pharmacist in preparing prescriptions, performing data entry of prescription records and inventory records; + Be currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy. **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to operate a unit dosing machine + Experience using an Omnicell Carousel + Experience working with multiple software programs including Microsoft Excel + Our employees are dedicated to ensuring cultural responsiveness.
