Join Our Team as a Philanthropy Events Coordinator
VNA Health Group, a trusted leader in compassionate community care, is seeking a Philanthropy Events Coordinator to support our Development team. In this vital role, you’ll plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact events that foster donor engagement and fuel our fundraising efforts.
Working closely with the Director of Development and other team members, you’ll ensure each event meets its objectives, strengthens donor relationships, and upholds the mission and values of VNA Health Group.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Take ownership of planning and organizing all fundraising and special events, ensuring every detail is executed with precision
Develop and manage detailed timelines, checklists, and schedules to keep events on track and well-organized
Coordinate logistics, vendors, staff, and volunteers to ensure smooth execution from setup to breakdown
Support donor and sponsor cultivation by managing communications and event-related outreach
Oversee all event-related materials, guest lists, and registration with a sharp eye for detail and organization
Help design and distribute promotional content and invitations
Track event results and compile reports that measure success in participation, fundraising, and overall impact
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.1 year of experience in special events and fundraising.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and Constant Contact preferred.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Flexibility to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
