Physical Therapy Assistant
Position OverviewEnsures that physical therapy services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. Provides physical therapy treatments for hospital-based inpatient and/or outpatient services or outpatient clinic services, as well as associated treatment records, progress notes, and billing information. Maintains specific service delivery standards which address commitment to service, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, integration with quality process, communication and interaction standards, turn-around time and information processing standards, corporate compliance requirements, and physical amenities/environment of care. Cleans treatment tables and rooms after patient use, participates in staff meetings, in-services and other educational activities, and most importantly, engages in consultation with the Physical Therapist as to any changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment which may warrant re-evaluation or alteration of the established treatment plan or goals. Primary Department or Work Location: Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager. Compensation Range: $22.89 - $32.76 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits. ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: + Graduate of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program or equivalent with Associate’s of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant Preferred: + A combination of up to two years of education, training and clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
