Providence has a per diem opportunity for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the Heart Institute of Montana in Missoula. Currently, the surgeons perform over 400 open heart cases per year and are supported by a dedicated team of PA's, nurses, surgical technicians and other clinical/clerical office staff. There is also a robust structural heart program that collaborates between interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery physicians. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a world-renowned heart center while enjoying a great work-life balance in the heart of the Rockies. * 0.0 FTE per diem, supplemental opportunity * Possible on call opportunities * 10 hour shifts with possible weekends and on call * Proficient skills in endoscopic vein and radial harvest * Experience assisting in complex valve and bypass surgeries * Support the surgeons in the operating room during cardiac and thoracic surgeries * Participate in daily management during the postoperative period **Where You’ll Work** The Providence Heart Institute is a globally recognized practice offering full vascular, cardiac and thoracic interventions and services.
