Position Overview:
The Junior Placement Counselor supports the Placement Team in matching job seekers with domestic staffing opportunities. This role plays an essential part in facilitating smooth and successful placements by coordinating with clients and candidates, organizing interviews, maintaining documentation, and supporting day-to-day operations.
Following comprehensive training, the Junior Placement Counselor will contribute to all aspects of the placement process—from organizing candidate information to coordinating interview logistics. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
What You’ll Do:
Support for Placement Process: Assist Placement Counselors by gathering and organizing client and candidate information, ensuring accurate job descriptions, and tracking staffing needs to facilitate effective placements. Candidate Coordination: Help review viable matches, schedule interviews, and organize candidate profiles to support Placement Counselors in evaluating qualifications, experience, and compatibility for domestic roles. Administrative Assistance: Maintain accurate records in the database, update job listings, create candidate resumes, check candidate references, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and communicated for smooth placement operations. Interview & Matching Support: Coordinate logistics for interviews between clients and candidates, engaging in candidate interviews, ensuring timely follow-ups and smooth communication throughout the hiring process. Industry Research & Market Awareness: Stay informed about trends in the domestic staffing industry and assist in compiling insights to support Placement Counselors in advising clients and candidates.Location: Uptown Dallas
Environment: Hybrid - Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays in our uptown Dallas office, Tuesday, Fridays work from home.

Strong Communicator: You effectively relay information, schedule interviews,and ensure clear and timely communication between Placement Counselors,
candidates, and clients. Professional & Confidential: You maintain the highest standards of discretion, handling sensitive client and candidate information with professionalism and integrity.

Salary Range: $63,000-$65,000
The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
