What You Will Do:

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Special Processes Plasma Operator. This position is for 2nd shift. Hours are Monday-Friday, 3:00PM to 11:30PM. You will receive a shift differential when working on 2nd Shift of 8%. All new employees will train on 1st shift for the first 6-8 months. The 1st shift training hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30AM to 3:00PM. Training is provided on-site.

This position entails operating plasma spray machinery to build up coating and perform plasma preparation including masking and blasting in an aerospace case repair facility.Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine requirements.Prepare parts for plasma coating.Set up and operate grit blaster.Set up and operate plasma equipment. Plasma coat to specifications outlined in work instructions.Inspect parts to verify conformance with specificationComplete required paperwork.Maintain clean work environment

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
