Job Description Summary:

Responsible for all pool area duties, cleaning, assisting members and assisting with training new employees.

ResponsibilitiesCleans all stainless steel in the pool area, stainless on pools, including rails and lifeguard stands Assists in maintaining pool area cleanliness, including vacuuming and monitors department inventory of equipment and supplies, notifying appropriate personnel of shortages and needed replacements.Making sure all equipment in the equipment room and the chemical room is in working order and notifies appropriate personnel of anything that needs attention.Assists in training new employees.Checks Co2 tanks, chlorine tablets, check chemicals as directed and document on a chemical log.Checks off on tech duty list during each shift.Checks on and assist members with questions or if they need assistance in the water.Performs related responsibilities as assigned or directed.
 Qualifications

EDUCATION: High School Diploma

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: CPR Certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire Certified pool operator preferred but not required  

EXPERIENCE: Prior pool experience preferred but not required
