Overview

East West Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager. Responsible for credit underwriting and portfolio management of both existing and new relationship within the Emerging Markets Group; this candidate will also assist with cross-selling banking products/services to new and existing banking relationships. Primary performance responsibilities to include managing the relationship in the portfolio, analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, recommending structure and underwriting of any/all credit related actions.

Responsibilities Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with established EWB credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines.As appropriate to experience, co-manage commercial relationships by analyzing financial data to determine the merits of specific loan requests, and recommend structure as well as aggressively managing the client relationshipResponsible for credit risk and quality of the portfolio.Assist with due diligence/analysis with new client relationships, opportunity memos as appropriate.Monitor loan repayment activities and financial condition of borrowing clients and take necessary action to collect past due accounts and ongoing repayment ability of all other accounts. May assume overall responsibility for the credit quality of the loan portfolio.Make presentations on specific loans and participate in the bank's Loan Approval Process, recommending approval and appropriate structure of credits.Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5-10 years of relevant experience, to include progressive selling opportunities.Good understanding of financial institution departments and activities.Demonstrate great customer service via phone and emailHigh energy level and ability to sell to customers' needs.Ability to close, prospect and have sales planningGood communication and organizational skills. Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
