OverviewAt IGT, we are seeking a PreMedia Specialist who will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations. This outstanding opportunity allows you to build print-ready files for flexographic plating and provide technical assistance to ensure that digital artwork meets our high printing standards. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Designer to maintain artwork specifications and assist in the flexographic plating process by producing finished plates as needed. This position is essential to our mission of delivering flawless printed materials and requires a keen eye for detail and a dedication to excellence.
ResponsibilitiesPreMedia
Format and proof both text and images submitted by designers into finished files that can be printed Review all print jobs to verify that the necessary information is present to produce the files based on established specifications Coordinate with the Account Services, Creative Design, and Press teams to implement vital changes seamlessly Manage the configuration, operation, and maintenance of digital proofing systems and calibrate color curves established from press fingerprinting Prepare files for inserts and point-of-sale material to be printed on the internal digital press Plate Making Set up plate exposure equipment and load film flats and underdeveloped printing plates Ensure the vacuum frame and glass are free of dust, debris, etc. Process exposure for accurate amounts of time and perform manual, as well as step and repeat operations Inspect finished plates or proofs for flaws, positioning, and accurate exposure using standard scales and loops Send proofs for approval as needed Build plates from approved proofs or film and send them to the Plate Mounter QualificationsIGT Global Requirements

Education RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience Required3+ years of experience in flexographic or similar printing premedia/prepress operations
5+ years of experience in graphic design, commercial printing, or premedia/prepress-related skills
Skills Required Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.) Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Design, Acrobat) Proficient computer skills, including navigating shared drives, folders, and files on the company server In-depth knowledge of digital prepress, page imposition, printing methods, and premedia/prepress procedures Familiarity with ESKO/Artworks Systems for establishing workflows and troubleshooting RIP file problems Ability to stand/walk 50% of day, bend, lift 50 lbs, and reach above shoulder height Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to quality Ability to work under minimal supervision within tight time constraints Independent yet cooperative standout colleague Preferred Education, Experience, or SkillsAssociates Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience in the printing, manufacturing, or lottery industry is a plus

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
