The Premium Services Manager works closely with different teams to ensure all assigned teams are properly preparing or implementing preparations for different event(s) at the Fishers Event Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work directly with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef to create all catering and suite menus
Work directly with the Director of Food & Beverage and Director of Sales to ensure all catering menu proposals are presented to the client accurately & effectively
Work with the service staff to see that message handling with administrative support is efficiently handled and placed in the computer based system immediately
Ensure that all appropriate communication for upcoming business is complete and distributed in a timely manner to the management team
Effectively communicates suite menus to suite holders and follows up to ensure their orders are placed in a timely manner for every event
Hires, trains and schedules catering and suite associates and is actively involved in the development of existing associates in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures
Oversee premium areas including suites and club spaces.
Leads meetings with culinary team to review and discuss upcoming events
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises all employees in premium spaces. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with SMG's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience
A minimum of 2 -4 years of experience in hospitality industry including 1 year of supervisory experience
Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of current food, industry trends and fine dining points of service
Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching skills
Ability to assess client requirements and deliver ensuring client satisfaction
Must be able to write menu proposals in consultation with chefs
Prepare and monitor budgets; financial targets and forecasts
The ability to supervise food preparation, service and cleanup is also essential
Maintain local client’s database and build and maintain relationship with vendors
Ensure all safety and sanitation procedures are followed in compliance with HACCP
Computer Skills
Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Alcohol Permit
Servsafe certification recommended
