What you will learn

The Raytheon Operations Business Analytics department has an immediate opening for a Data Automation and Visualization Specialist (Principal Specialist, Data Science & Analytics).  The ideal candidate will use tools including Snowflake, Alteryx, Python, Power BI, and Tableau to develop business insights supporting manufacturing customers.  This position requires a combination of creativity, strong collaboration skills, technical acumen, and the ability to deliver timely business insights to all levels of the organization. Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills are a must.

What You Will Do:

Apply data visualization best practices to Tableau and Power BI deliverablesDevelop automated Visualization and Operational reporting solutions using Snowflake, SQL Server, SAP BW Query Designer, Oracle, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, and TableauContribute to daily stand-up meetings and participate in peer reviews to give status progress on project assignmentsMaintain Python code base in git repositories hosted in Azure DevOps

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires A Bachelor's STEM Degree or equivalent experience and 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Experience with SQL and Python Scripting (3+ years)Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) (3+ years)

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
