About the Role
The principal DSP Engineer role is a critical position focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for audio products. This role directly impacts the business by driving innovation in audio technologies, ensuring high-performance, low-latency, and power-efficient solutions that enhance user experience and drive product differentiation in the market. The position involves close collaboration with acoustic, hardware, firmware, and platform teams to integrate and optimize DSP algorithms in embedded systems, ensuring project development from concept to production with quality delivery on time and in budget.

What You Will Do
What You Need
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Automation, or related fields.Over 8 years of experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) development, with project experience in audio processing.Experience in leading or participating in the design, implementation, and optimization of complex DSP algorithms.Preference given to candidates with practical project experience in audio devices, wireless communication, consumer electronics, or related fields.Proficient in DSP theory, including Fourier transforms, filter design, adaptive signal processing, and spectral analysis.Familiar with common audio processing algorithms such as equalization (EQ), virtual surround, filter, limiter and spatial audio.Knowledge of DSP chip development tools and programming (e.g., TI C6000 series, ADI SHARC series).Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, and Python for implementing and optimizing DSP algorithms.Understanding of audio codec technologies (e.g., AAC, MP3, Opus) and wireless audio transmission protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, WiFi).Ability to design and implement efficient DSP algorithms based on requirements and optimize their performance.Experience in low-power optimization, especially for portable devices (e.g., wireless earphones, Bluetooth speakers).Familiarity with the conversion and optimization of floating-point and fixed-point algorithms.What is Nice to Have
Experience in applying machine learning or deep learning in signal processing.Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs demonstrating technical depth and influence.Published patents or papers in relevant fields.Familiarity with embedded system security development.What Makes You Eligible
