Private Duty Scheduler – Full-Time – Lenoir City, TN

 

Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Private Duty Scheduler to join our team in Lenoir City, TN. This in-office role is essential in coordinating private duty nursing staff to ensure patients receive high-quality one-on-one in-home care. Ideal candidates will have prior office experience, with a background in direct patient care being a strong advantage. CNA or LPN experience is a bonus!

Responsibilities The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating quality care and customer service to our valued clients. The Scheduler will coordinate the assignment of appropriate staff to clients, schedule client services, identify problem situations, and assist in problem solving to strive for optimal outcomes.Ensure HomeCare services are in compliance with agency philosophy, policies/procedures, and in accordance with Federal, State, and local licensing laws and regulationsEnsure proper documentation and record-keeping for agency payorsMaintain data integrity in client scheduling software systemUnderstand and ensure adherence to the agreed Plan of Care for each client servedPartner and communicate with all members of the client’s circle of care which may include,  but is not limited to, family members, assigned Power-of-Attorney spokesperson, community partners and related agenciesMonitor and report on changes in the client’s Plan of Care, services, or condition as requiredConduct periodic home visits and safety checksReview and determine client service schedules to ensure adequate staffing and processing completed visits for paymentSupport recruitment, screening and selection of staff based on Agency and external referralsSupport all initiatives related to Branch GrowthProvide administrative support for key branch functions (payroll, employee assistance, answering phones)Assume on-call responsibility as neededOther duties as assigned Qualifications

 

High School Diploma RequiredPrior experience delivering services to the elderly, disabled, or developmentally disabled preferred (per regulatory requirements)Excellent Customer Service SkillsPrevious experience with community service, client service or staffing experienceKnowledge or previous experience working in an office setting with computers, phones, facsimile, and other related tasksDriving Required.
