**The Opportunity**
The Product Owner is a key member of Ally's Digital Transformation team and will work on a variety of projects varying in size and importance. This position will work on both mobile and web channels and be out front leading Ally's auto lines of business on a variety of digital capabilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with Ally's senior management, fellow product and platform Product Owners, technology development, analytics, UX, and content teams. The Mobile Product Owner will develop stories, guide development, and conduct production validation to offer deep insights into digital content, digital journeys, and digital personalization leveraged by the best digital competitors and world class digital companies.
**The Work Itself**
* Drive engagement with fellow product owners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to:
* Lead requirements gathering session with business partners
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify key business requirements
* Cogently present strategy and content recommendations to partners across the organization, including senior and executive level management
* Advocate for Consumer Auto needs with enterprise digital programs
* Conduct industry and competitive analysis and stay informed on new industry trends as well as regulatory guidance that may impact any changes to the customer experience or product offering; leverage key business metrics, performance data and industry trends to recommend and lead enhancements to these features and tools
* Partner with business management and finance to define capability metrics and conduct ROI analysis
* Remain engaged in all steps of the enhancement and sprint process, including business validation/testing and participation in regularly scheduled technology releases; triage production issues with business and technology partners to ensure swift and satisfactory resolution with minimal impact to users and the business
* Ensure legal, risk, compliance, brand, and accessibility teams are engrained in the agile process and providing meaningful review/input
* Work closely with design/usability and content teams to clearly define the user experience specifications
* Drive scrum teams to meet product expectations through effective communication that bridges business needs and technology capability requirements.
* Manage delivery schedules and timelines across multiple teams, including product development, digital analytics, data collection, and platform teams; create a consistent, proactive reporting routine for standard product updates
* Actively partner with senior management to create product roadmaps that focus on optimization, innovation, and the customer experience; develop integrated roadmaps to delivery capabilities, which best support business strategies
**The Skills You Bring**
* 3+ years of professional digital product experience; background and working knowledge of auto industry or financial services experience preferred
* Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change; highly organized and thinks ahead
* Experience driving change and consensus across organizations; comfortable leading through influence
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment
* Strong analytical problem solver
* Highly effective communicator (verbal and written), able to present to senior level executives and business partners
* Proven experience in working in Agile/Scrum product development lifecycles
* Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, design, technology, or related experience
Highly Preferred:
* 3+ years Mobile Product Owner experience
* Familiarity with customer experience - B2C servicing
* Native mobile app experience

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
