Job Profile: Technical Product Owner – SW Device Platform

Role Summary:
The Technical Product Owner (TPO) plays a critical role in bridging Product Management and R&D teams by translating platform and product-level requirements into a clear and actionable development backlog. The TPO leads technical alignment and drives the delivery of high-quality software components within the embedded software platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and prioritize the software development backlog in alignment with platform PMs.Translate high-level feature requests into Epics and User Stories for implementation.Facilitate PI Planning and sprint planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Ensure timely readiness of software release candidates and testing deliverables.Drive creation and maintenance of technical documentation (SWRS, cSWR, SWAD).Integrate compliance and regulatory requirements into backlog planning.Report progress and escalate impediments through structured governance channels.Act as a lateral leader by guiding and supporting teams in best practices and agile methods.Qualifications & Experience:
7+ years of experience in technically leading software teams.Strong understanding of embedded software development and modern engineering practices (e.g., MBSE, Systems Engineering).Proven experience with agile and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe or similar).Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.Scope & Impact:
