Production Manager - RW/TS Indianapolis

Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, home of Reddi Whip and Blue Bonnet, is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead overall continuous improvement of Line Level metrics across multiple shifts. Develop line-level tactical gap-to-goal plans and mid-range strategic plans. Build capability across hourly and salaried teams with regards to Reliability Technology. Manage production staff to attain production and quality goals. Identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. Ensure production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available to maintain production schedules. Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Manage functions of the business to create an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve our results.

You Will:

Be a primary resource for line-level production teams across multiple shifts to help improve Conagra's Performance System and world class results in Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Delivery, and Engagement.

Manage production and maintenance activities across multiple shifts to meet plant goals.

Coach team in personal accountability, giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, trade-off analysis, interpersonal communications and external interactions.

Troubleshoot problems and implements corrective actions through root cause analysis.

Seek and provide resources for team and provide necessary training to assist the team in reaching its goals.

Lead team in tracking and understanding performance indicators, gap analysis and creating action plans to address performance gaps.

You Have:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Three (3) years leading high performance teams and engaging team members to improve our results including employee hiring and retention, training, performance reviews and discipline.

Working knowledge of production equipment and systems including maintenance activities.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
