MAU is hiring a Production Supervisor in Beech Island, SC. As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and manage a team of MAU associates to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and talent development goals within a rotating shift environment at the client’s facility.
Benefits Package Competitive Compensation Package Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Paid Holidays (11) Paid Vacation Great Work Environment Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Care Partners Program Health Club Reimbursement Program Additional Supplemental Benefit Programs 401k Salary Continuation Educational Reimbursement FMLA available after 12 months of service Shift Information Full-time position Swing shift with rotating days and nights 13-hour shifts Career Path Platform Trainer Platform Manager Site Manager General Manager Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of relevant experience Preferred Education and Experience Lean Greenbelt certification Training in root cause analysis Forklift operation experience General Requirements Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to resolve conflict and manage crises Capable of maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards Familiar with GMP regulations, dress code policies, and MAU procedures Essential Functions Supervise MAU staff on rotating shifts Adapt work scheduling based on production flow Act as Subject Matter Expert on process improvements Ensure process completion per SQDC standards Comply with all federal, state, and local laws Manage raw materials with critical process control variables Lead and mentor MAU associates Support Leader Standard Work Resolve conflicts between employees and/or customer Coach, train, and mentor platform team members Handle on-shift safety incidents and reporting Ensure security and compliance Administer post-accident reports and drug screenings Prioritize safety in all operations Control costs to maintain platform profitability Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction Provide high-level customer service Investigate and resolve material shortages or damage Maintain compliance with GMP and internal policies Manage employee attendance and timekeeping (Kronos) Support Simple Problem Solving initiatives Represent MAU in daily customer meetings Fulfill special customer requests Operate a lift truck if needed Work Environment and Physical Demands Work is performed in administrative, manufacturing, or warehouse environments May include hot/cold conditions, clean room areas, and use of industrial equipment Physical Requirements Must be able to walk up to 8 miles per day Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Travel Occasional travel required (less than 25 miles per month)
