Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Director to join our team! In this role you will get to be the central point of contact for the customer supporting a high performing/high tempo Army logistics program management organization. You will be responsible for the accountability, sustainability, maintainability, quality and efficiency of a program with global reach.

What You'll Be Doing:

Be responsible for representing Parsons to the client and ensuring your high performing team is exceeding client expectations related to cost, schedule, and performanceLead staff through complex global Army logistics challengesManage subject matter leads including logisticians, operations managers, engineers, and technical field service representativesAssign responsibility for executing project plan activities to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengthsBe accountable for all program deliverables and quality oversightPerform program risk management responsibilitiesParticipate in recruiting and hiring activitiesHelp Parsons grow the business with this key clientManage subcontractorsBe responsible for P&L with minimal oversightManage dedicated company support leads to facilitate operation of the support

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Project Management, Business Management/Administration or other related technical field10+ years of relevant experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing complex logistics challengesPrevious project management experience on similar or related large-scope project typesCurrent Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification from the Project Management InstituteExperience managing within the US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR)Core knowledge of:Modeling and SimulationFacility repairs, maintenance, and movementDeployment and distributionBase, Port, and Airfield operationsWarehousing/supplyEngineering ServicesOperational contract supportExercise and training support

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasksExperience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organizationExperience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute those items in accordance with approved plansExperience operating with any of the following commandsUS Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC)US Pacific Fleet (PACFLT)US Army Pacific (USARPAC)US Pacific Air Forces (PACAF)US Forces Command Korea/Japan (USFK/J)

Active Top-Secret level clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access

Salary Range: $155,600.00 - $280,100.00
