Program Manager - Energy Efficiency

We are hiring for an energy efficiency program manager!

This role is flexible hybrid but will need candidates who live in the New York City area.

The Energy Efficiency Program Manager makes operational decisions to meet program objectives for a multifamily residential energy efficiency program. They motivate outreach and project management personnel and are accountable for monitoring progress towards program goals – making the necessary changes to improve program performance. The role is accountable for supporting program success through resource allocation, budget and accounting support and providing excellent customer support for both the utility and the multifamily residential customers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Define the staff and budget resource requirements, operational expectations, and internal reporting requirements needed to achieve annual goalsRecognize inefficiencies in processes and develop solutions to continually improve operational efficiency and customer serviceSupervise internal and external resources to ensure compliance with utility requirements including contract goals, budgets and cost-effectiveness, making program tactical changes as neededOversee and manage the relationship between us and utilities and program participantsManage the development of tools, processes and procedures for subcontractors and trade alliesTrack progress on program deliverables as part of overall program fulfillmentReport progress to internal and external stakeholdersDelivers clear and transparent program messaging for both external customer and internal staffAddresses customer service complaints and feedback; seeks solutions to prevent future occurrencesProvides clear and effective communication with all customers including team members, stakeholders, cross-functional groups, etc.

Job Specifications And Required Abilities

Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilitiesMust be able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with internal and external representativesKnowledge of building science, construction, energy efficiency programs, sustainability, and industry standardsDemonstrated capability in coordinating promotional activities relevant to our industryAbove average verbal and written communication and project management skillsListens carefully and objectively to others and determine their wants, risks and needs prior to speakingPlans and prepares in advance for the outcome our wants from the discussion or presentationPresents information in a manner consistent with our style and responsibilitiesForms and maintains positive relationships with customers and clientsProficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
