We are currently hiring a Construction Program Scheduler to be located in Los Angeles, CA. This opportunity will have you working within our education project construction sector. The education team provides services to K-12 as well as higher education institutions nationally. You will be teaming with project, program, and client leadership to provide premier educational facilities for our nation’s youth and adults seeking to better themselves through learning.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types.

Monitors and actively participates in project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards.

Obtains accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and performs QA/QC on information received.

Creates and develops conceptual what-if schedules for multiple project types including large complex multi-year projects.

Prepares ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management

Knowledge & Skills Required:

Understanding of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering, scheduling and schedule forensics.

Experience performing detailed schedule analyses.

Knowledge of project document control.

Demonstrated ability to develop high-level logic driven schedules.

Utilize effective written and oral communication skills. 

Understand how your role contributes to the organization's goals.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering required.

Experience: Minimum of six (6) years experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in support of educational facility or public works projects. Proficiency in Primavera 19.12 version or above and MS Office Suite. Experience with projects using design-bid-build and design-build methods.

The salary range for this full-time role is $95,000.00-$126,666.68 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
