Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Newark, New Jersey, to support key Human Resources initiatives within the higher education sector. This long-term contract position involves partnering with HR leadership and project teams to ensure successful planning and execution of project activities. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR processes, systems, and compliance, along with strong organizational and communication skills to manage project deliverables effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with HR leadership and project teams to coordinate and oversee project activities and timelines.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct research and analysis to support HR goals and ensure alignment with compliance requirements.
• Monitor project deliverables, ensuring adherence to established deadlines and standards.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure clarity and progress on project goals.
• Utilize HRIS tools, such as Workday, to manage data and support integration efforts.
• Provide administrative support for meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and documenting outcomes.
• Track and report on project milestones, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions.
• Support the implementation and integration of HR systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure project activities align with organizational policies and procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within Human Resources.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, and experience with system implementation or integration.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation and tracking deliverables.
• Adept at using project management tools and software to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in HR or project management. TalentMatch®
