We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Virginia Beach office. This role is ideal for individuals looking to break into the construction field or those with a few years of experience in similar roles such as assistant superintendent, foreman, or assistant project manager. Our projects focus on residential communities, townhome communities, and apartment complexes. ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily logs.Schedule and monitor the work of subcontractors and Punch Out Personnel.Plan daily allocation of resources and materials.Manage laborers.Identify quality discrepancies and ensure repairs are completed properly and timely.Assist Superintendents.Execute documents.Coordinate materials.Essential SkillsExperience in construction management, commercial construction, residential construction, and site developmentExperience as a project engineer, assistant superintendent, assistant project manager, or field engineerReliable, hardworking, and attentive to detailWilling to learn and implement construction softwareAbility to get hands dirty and learn the role of Superintendent or Project ManagerExperience in project coordination and construction documentationAdditional Skills & Qualifications0-3+ years of experience in residential or multifamily construction0-3+ years of experience as a project engineer, assistant superintendent, assistant project manager, or field engineerStrong desire for long-term career growthOne step onsite interview process.Work Environment
The work will be based out of our Virginia Beach office. This role offers the opportunity to support large local projects with job security due to a high volume of work. We promote from within, and there is potential for quick advancement.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
