Description
The Project Engineer position within the Integration Test Evaluation ITE Organization is a key role in supporting the ET lab's strategic initiatives. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for performing monitoring control and support functions across multiple ET labs ensuring that project are completed on time. To be successful in this role you should have a proven track record of meeting project deadlines as well as the ability to access and analyze data identify trends and develop innovative solutions. You will also assist in strategic initiatives such as rehabbing functional spaces improving lab efficiency and implementing process improvements.
Specific Description:
As a Project Engineer you will contribute to strategic initiatives such as lab space rehabilitation efficiency improvements and process enhancements. Additionally you will assist in maintaining day-to-day lab compliance with company policies and procedures through 6S initiatives manage schedules and deadlines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve lab objectives. You will work closely with other teams to achieve lab goals and objectives and will be expected to provide support and guidance to lab personnel as needed. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects and drive process improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
1. Ability to obtain secret clearance
2. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
3. Self-starter able to perform tasks and develop solutions with minimal supervision
4. Strong interpersonal and communication both verbal and written skills with the ability to work within a diverse workforce
5. Ability to understand policies and procedures
6. Detail-oriented approach to documentation record- keeping and operational protocols
7. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs
Desired Skills:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering laboratory sustainment or manufacturing environment
2. Experience with data base tracking systems including the service request system
3. Experience interfacing with diverse workforce
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
