As part of the S2CO Strategic Transformation and Integration Group (STING) team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of space technology and driving innovation at Lockheed Martin Space. As a Project Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of space technology by providing data-driven insights to inform staffing, training, and financial decisions. As a key member of our team, you'll help us optimize our workforce, anticipate future needs, and drive business growth.
You'll focus on the staffing perspective of our team, working closely with stakeholders to analyze and understand our staffing profile, forecast future demands, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your expertise will enable us to make informed, data-driven decisions that align with our business objectives and support the achievement of our strategic initiatives.

- Develop and maintain forecasts to anticipate future staffing needs, identifying potential gaps and opportunities for growth

- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve staffing efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress towards staffing goals

Basic Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field (e.g., engineering, project engineering/management, data analysis)
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate priorities, decompose tasking and complete deliverables on time
- Strong data analysis and evaluation skills
- Proficient in MS Office Tools
- Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, communication, analysis and problem solving.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software
- Experience with staffing and talent evaluation
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance
- Certification in a relevant field, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Data Analyst (CDA), or similar certification
- Active Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
