Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our reputable general contracting team in Georgetown, D.C. The successful candidate will work in a beautiful office location right on the waterfront and will be responsible for managing a variety of projects, including historic preservation, rehabilitation, and new construction projects. The Project Manager will report to the office on a daily basis and will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects.
ResponsibilitiesProvide top-level preconstruction consultation, project management, and general contracting services.Manage a diverse range of projects including historic preservation, retail construction, tenant fit-out, high-end residential, restaurants, and institutional construction services.Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all project requirements are met.Utilize Procore and Excel software for project management and documentation.Review and interpret project scope, drawings, and blueprints.Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project success.Essential Skills10+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager on relevant commercial construction projects (e.g., historic preservation, schools, parks, libraries, community centers, historic government work).Proficiency in using Procor software for project management.Experience with Design-Build projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent communication and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Work Environment
The Project Manager will spend approximately 80% of their time in the office and 20% on-site at project locations. The role involves managing a variety of construction projects in a dynamic and professional setting. The office is located in a beautiful waterfront location in Georgetown, D.C
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.67 - $52.88/hr.
