Project Manager
Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager, where you will lead and oversee the planning, organizing, and coordination of major capital projects and programs in the field of transmission line engineering, substation engineering, and construction oversight. This role involves managing high complexity projects and fostering communication among stakeholders to ensure project success. Responsibilities + Lead the project management team responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the completion of activities for engineering, design, procurement, and construction of major capital projects and programs. + Coordinate with stakeholders to establish and maintain communication throughout the project life cycle. + Serve as the primary point of contact with clients regarding project matters. + Facilitate the implementation of safety and health programs, promoting safe work practices. + Ensure environmental protection in compliance with company policy and government regulations. + Conduct technical reviews of specifications, drawings, contracts, and other construction documents. + Direct project planning and status meetings to maintain schedule and financial adherence. + Provide schedule updates of engineering, construction, and budget status to management teams. + Oversee construction package reviews, pre-award meetings, field visits, and site walk-downs. + Coordinate submittals, reviews, and required project information and documents. + Ensure necessary outages and permits are identified and communicated in a timely manner. + Mentor and train Project Managers and Project Coordinators as needed. + Assist Portfolio Managers with coordination, preparation, and reporting of significant activities. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant experience in utility project management. + 4-10+ years of experience in project management, project controls, or related fields, with at least five years in project management. + Knowledge of electric utility preferred. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Effective leadership and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + PMP certification preferred. Work Environment This role offers a remote work environment with occasional travel (10%) to worksites, with hotel and mileage expenses covered.
