About the Opportunity
Are you a seasoned civil engineer with a passion for delivering complex utility infrastructure projects? We’re looking for a strategic and solutions-focused Project Manager to lead essential utility projects that improve how communities access critical services like water, sewer, and power.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of full project delivery—driving the design, coordination, and execution of utility infrastructure from the ground up. Whether it’s managing the upgrade of water mains in growing suburbs, delivering large-scale wastewater treatment improvements, or coordinating with councils on critical utility relocations, your work will directly impact the reliability and sustainability of urban infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing
Performs work involving the application of a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas; uses advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices in a specialized engineering field and related sciences and disciplines
Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design approach for large or complex projects, and has overall responsibility for the engineering work on all assigned projects
Plans, conducts, or directs large engineering projects or a number of smaller projects with complex features
Supervises assigned engineering and support personnel
Possesses advanced oral and written communication skills; regularly represents the company and makes presentations on its behalf
Routinely interacts with clients, officials, etc.; represents the company and maintains liaison with individuals and related organizations
Prepares budgets, schedules, proposals for engineering services, and engineering services agreements
What You Bring
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) or equivalent
8+ years of civil engineering experience, with a strong background in utility infrastructure design and delivery
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on multiple concurrent projects
Deep understanding of relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements
Strong communication, client engagement, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with design and modeling tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar
