The Proposal Manager enforces corporate branding standards at all times and protects the branding requirements of our partners and subcontractors as well.

The Proposal Manager is responsible for the independent development and production of qualifications, proposals, award submittals, presentation materials and other various proposal and marketing related collateral.

The Proposal Manager oversees, directs and QCs the work of the Proposal Coordinator and/or Proposal Administrator assigned to their SOQ or proposal effort.

The Proposal Manager also assists with brochures, trade shows and other business development efforts.

 

Proposal Manager Required  Qualifications:

 

Proficiency in desktop publishing, presentation and other marketing related software, including Adobe CC, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, SharePoint, FTP sites, video conference/sharing and other marketing-related applications

 

High level understanding of construction and/or engineering industry

 

Functions effectively as part of a team

 

Ability to work with upper management within Skanska and with other companies

 

Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times

 

Excellent skills in time management, organizing, writing, proofreading and editing

 

Ability to multi task and meet aggressive deadlines

 

Strong writing skills including an understanding of the elements of style and English grammar

 

Ability to plan, coordinate, and organize one’s own and other’s work schedules and products

 

Ability to communicate and work effectively with joint venture team members’/marketing leads to ensure each entity is compliant where needed in the technical proposal

 

Ability to focus people, deal effectively but calmly with others, and explain proposal concepts to help team members understand their responsibilities

 

Ability to be proactive in the data collection process and identify areas needing additional support early in the process
