HRG is an employee-owned, nationally recognized, consulting engineering, planning, and infrastructure solutions firm. HRG has 8 offices in Pennsylvania (Harrisburg, King of Prussia, Pittsburgh, Lewisburg, State College, York, Chambersburg, Lehigh Valley) and one office in Morgantown, WV.


HRG is seeking a Proposal Specialist with 1-3 years of experience. The Proposal Specialist will work collaboratively with other Proposal Specialists as well as Marketing and Business Development team members, and technical leadership across HRG’s local offices. This position can be based in any HRG office territory and most of their work can be performed remotely or using a hybrid work schedule. 


Responsibilities

Review inbound lead sources to identify opportunities worth pursuing (IMS, ECMS, OpenGov, etc.)Capture opportunities in CRM (Vantagepoint) and disseminate internally for stakeholder go/no-go decisionsSchedule and facilitate proposal production kickoff meetings using a Proposal Management Planning templateLead proposal production including written content, layout, boilerplate language, scope/fee/schedule (to be produced by technical stakeholders), etc.Contact and gather information from sub-consultants as neededProduce client short-list presentations as neededParticipate in presentation practices as neededEnsure quality of all produced material (brand consistency/layout, spelling/grammar, tone/style)Support Corporate Marketing group in ongoing maintenance of employee resumes, project descriptions, photography, etc. within the OpenAsset digital asset management platformSupport Marketing group in other functional activities as assigned Requirements

  

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Technical Writing, or Marketing1-3 years professional of experienceArchitectural, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry and proposal production experience preferred, but not requiredAdobe Creative Cloud and InDesign experience preferred, but not required (training provided)Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Understanding of CRM and content management systems preferred, but not requiredAbility to work and coordinate efforts from multi-discipline teams across the firm's geographic reach and to lead team meetings with assertive and professional attitudeAbility to operate under tight deadlines, manage projects simultaneously, and urgent requestsValid U.S. driver's licenseAuthorized to work in the U.S.
