Health Advocates Network is seeking a **Psychiatric Technician** to work at a facility in **Jacksonville , FL.** This is a registry position with our company. **Pay Rate:** $24 / hour *W2 **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Assist in a variety of treatment modalities including but not limited to biofeedback, stress management, and group therapy + Provide care for patients utilizing proper infection control and safety techniques as planned and/or ordered. Document per policy and notify the mental health provider or nurse in charge of any abnormal or unusual findings in a timely manner + Present or facilitate a variety of health and wellness programs, including stress management, suicide intervention, and smoking cessation. Conduct various programs in support of the clinic + Provide care to mentally ill or emotionally disturbed patients and participate in rehabilitation and treatment programs + Perform a range of diagnostic support duties which include but is not limited to drawing blood for lab studies; collect and label specimens; take vital signs; and assist the doctor in a variety of diagnostic examinations **QUALIFICATIONS** + Psychiatric Technician/ Mental Health Tech Certification + 1 year of relevant experience + Basic Life Support (BLS) + US Citizen + NACI background check If interested, please apply through this job post.
