Summary: Seeking a Purchasing Lead with expertise in the automotive industry to manage sourcing activities and oversee new product line introductions.

Requirements:

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business preferred 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement or Materials Management in the automotive industry Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contracting techniques Must pass a drug screen (THC included) and background check

Preferred Skills:

Experience with supplier mining techniques, risk assessments, and performance management

Responsibilities:

Lead sourcing activities for new product lines Establish supply base through supplier mining and development plans Prepare and analyze RFQ/RFIs for cost competitiveness Maintain communication with suppliers to build relationships Lead supplier meetings and strategy development Collaborate with cross-functional teams for sourcing decisions

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
