Job Title: QA/QC Program Engineer V
Job Description

Join our team as a QA/QC Program Engineer V, where you will play a critical role in developing and monitoring quality program metrics to evaluate project performance. You will work closely with various teams to ensure quality standards are met and drive continuous improvement in our construction projects.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and monitor quality program metrics to evaluate project performance.Analyze metrics to understand root causes of trends and collaborate with relevant parties for solutions.Assist in developing on-site partner construction QA and QC teams.Develop QA/QC processes and standards to enhance efficiency and cross-functional communication.Interface between design, construction, and facility operations, including general contractors.Provide training on quality procedures and responsibilities within the QA/QC process.Coordinate quality issues among design, construction, and facility operations teams.Audit QA/QC activities of staff and subcontractors to ensure conformance with procedures.Examine mechanical engineering and plumbing submittals for quality assurance compliance.Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with requirements.Develop, review, and approve construction quality procedures and checklists.Recommend and verify corrective and preventive actions for project non-conformances.Review commissioning agent scripts and provide feedback.Assist in reviewing turnover documentation for completeness and accuracy.Assist in reviewing energization start-up and commissioning schedules for compliance.Drive closure of open issues in BIM360 and escalate unresolved items.Attend factory witness tests for equipment and systems as required.Provide on-site inspections for construction quality control of equipment and systems.Confirm completion and retention of testing documentation.Assist in reviewing labeling, signage, and tagging.Develop project-specific QA/QC dashboards and presentations.Attend required construction and QA/QC meetings.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in QA/QC programs for data centers or mission-critical construction projects.Experience with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build construction programs.Experience in civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and IC disciplines.Experience leading QA/QC and commissioning programs.Experience in contractor, consultant, and vendor management.Experience in mission-critical power and cooling infrastructure.Strong mechanical and electrical QA knowledge.Proficiency with construction quality tools.People-focused with strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work well with cross-functional partners.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CSLA disciplines.Some experience with vendor management.Experience on the build side of projects.Work Environment

This position is located onsite at the Albany Data Center. You will be part of a dedicated team working on five simultaneous campus builds, acting as an extension of the quality program for infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and offers the opportunity to manage the entire work scope.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $110.00/hr.
