Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the exceptional quality of our back-end and front-end web applications.

Your responsibilities will include designing and executing automated tests, identifying and resolving issues, defining corrective measures, reviewing system requirements, and monitoring quality assurance metrics to ensure optimal performance.

Core Responsibilities:

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

Design, develop and execute automation scripts

Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Work with the US-based Quality Lead to develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

Coordinate with stakeholders and identify system requirements

Monitor debugging process results

Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Skills

Candidate must have experience as a member of the SCRUM team in the same/similar position.

Candidate must have already some experiences with testing tools

Candidate should have already some experiences with Test Automation

Experience on the level of the test automation architect or programmer is Advantage

Technology stack is variable, more important is to be willing and open to learn new technologies. (Windows, Linux, Unix, AZURE, C/C++, C#/.NET, JAVA, Python, TypeScript, Bash, PowerShell, GIT, Some Relational and non-REL DBs such a Mongo, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, )

Experience with any Testing Frameworks /Libraries (Playwright, Cypress.IO, Pytest, Selenium, Cucumber) advantage

Experiences with any object-oriented programing language is an Advantage

Candidate must be able to work with standard collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, GIT)

Experiences with IDE are Advantage (we are using MS Studio CODE)

Location and Work Environment: 

Position is based in Bratislava, Slovakia; Kosice, Slovakia; and Brno, Czechia. They are hybrid-flex positions requiring presence in the office 1-3 times per week, with occasional travel between these locations.

Working hours: 
EMEA, approx. 9am-5,30pm (with some flexibility)

Compensation:

Salary for Slovakia starting from 3 130EUR gross monthly.

Salary for Czech Republic starting from 91 400CZK gross monthly.

The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge, and experience.
