Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a temporary Quality Control Technician in a large chemical processing facility. This chemistry-based role involves using standard chemical lab equipment and instrumentation, including Thermogravimetric Analysis, Capillary Rheometers, Assay, HPLC, GC, and pH meters. The position is ideal for those looking to grow within the Quality Department and potentially move into R&D roles in the future.
ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate proficiency with standard chemical lab equipment and instrumentation.Utilize specialized laboratory instrumentation platforms such as Thermogravimetric Analysis, Capillary Rheometers, Assay, HPLC, GC, and pH meters.Perform routine tests and report results on batch sheets and LIMS System.Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP documentation and SOP knowledge.Maintain quality control standards in line with ISO certifications.Essential SkillsBS degree in Chemistry or other science degrees with prior chemical manufacturing experience.1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting across various industries.Proficiency in Gas Chromatography and High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).Experience with LIMS System.Knowledge of GMP/GLP documentation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in ISO certified facilities.Troubleshooting experience in industry labs.Work Environment
The role involves working in a lab setting on a night shift, with a 2-2-3 schedule. Training will be provided on an 8-hour day shift for 3-4 weeks before transitioning to a 12-hour schedule.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
