Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Engineer to act as the primary Quality representative on the MRO line. The ideal candidate will partner closely with operations, engineering, and customers to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained. Responsibilities + Serve as the primary Quality representative on the MRO line, partnering closely with operations, engineering, and customers. + Lead and support root cause investigations, FRACAS management, corrective actions, and nonconformance management. + Gather, analyze, and present data to identify trends and risks. + Ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively, escalating where appropriate and following through to closure. + Adapt to evolving situations and make confident, responsible decisions. Essential Skills + 4+ years of experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing, preferably in an MRO environment. + Solid understanding of AS9100, RCCA methodologies (8D, 5-Whys, etc.), and aerospace inspection practices. + Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, filters, etc.). + Strong data skillset with intermediate to advanced Excel fluency. + Ability to communicate effectively across functions and levels, from technicians to leadership. + Comfortable taking ownership, operating independently, and navigating ambiguity when needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Exposure to ERP (SAP preferred) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (Siemens MES, Factory Logix preferred). + Advanced data analysis skillset (PowerBI, SQL). Work Environment The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM with some flexibility for a 7 AM start time. This position reports to the Quality Supervisor and operates during the first shift. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $53.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
