We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and enhance our Supplier Quality Program and ensure the effectiveness of quality systems and processes.
ResponsibilitiesManage the Supplier Quality Program in collaboration with the Supply Chain Organization, including both international and local suppliers.Ensure timely resolution of supplier failures, corrective actions, and preventative actions.Assist the Supply Chain with Supplier Scorecard data, publication, and review.Control Supplier Program documents, policies, and manuals.Manage and maintain the ACS calibration system to ensure timely calibration practices and data recording per industry standards.Support continuous improvement processes alongside the ACS Continuous Improvement Manager.Analyze internal and field failures to enhance customer feedback.Collaborate with production and engineering for improved new product launch processes aligned with customer requirements and best practices.Develop and train associates on quality awareness.Assist in updating and improving the Quality System.Conduct internal audits to support the quality system and processes.Lead the external audit of the ACS Quality Management System.Essential SkillsProficiency in PPAP, ISO 9001, and GD&T.Bachelor's degree in a related field.At least 3 years of quality engineering experience in a relevant environment.3 years of experience with PPAPs.2 years of experience with GD&T.2 years of gage calibration experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with suppliers is a plus.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
