**Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-process and final product inspections, assisting production, logistics, and maintenance teams with quality-related questions, and ensuring that all products meet defined quality criteria. This role also involves inspecting labeling and packaging, controlling nonconforming products, and reporting any quality issues to the Quality Trainer or Quality Engineer. **Responsibilities** + Conduct in-process and final product inspections. + Serve as a resource to production, logistics, and maintenance teams on quality topics. + Conduct receiving and inspection activities. + Assess product quality related to appearance and other characteristics based on defined criteria. + Inspect labeling and packaging to ensure they meet requirements. + Assist in controlling and disposition of nonconforming products. + Ensure execution of Quality Alerts. + Report any quality issues on the floor to the Quality Trainer or Quality Engineer. + Pass down any issues to the next shift. + Assist and perform product sorts and investigations for defective material both in-house and at customer facilities. + Follow and enforce work instructions and quality guidelines. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment. + Identify and report any defects or quality issues immediately. + Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and company procedures. + Assist in Measurement Systems Analysis to ensure the quality of measurement systems. + Work overtime as assigned by management, including shift and/or location changes. + Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + Strong attention to detail. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and work in a brand new, clean, state-of-the-art manufacturing environment located in Georgetown, Texas. Flexibility in working hours, including potential overtime and shift changes, is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Texas **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
