Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The primary role involves testing finished products for acid, salt, pH, and sulfites, as well as performing metal detection and inspecting fill weights, drained weights, defects, and abnormal colors or flavors. You will ensure that the coding on packaging and cases is correct, conduct audits, and solve issues related to product quality.

This role is based in a food manufacturing facility that produces sauerkraut, where the smell can be intense at times. The position is lab-based, but sample collection on the production floor is required. There are three openings with shifts from 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., with overtime potential Monday to Friday and some Saturdays during harvest season. Training will be on the day shift and will last 2-4 weeks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
