Job Title: Quality Technician (GC)

Shift: 3rd shift, Hours: Monday – Friday 10pm – 6am
Reports To: Quality Manager
The Quality Technician (QT) is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional responsible for supporting quality assurance in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This individual works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, troubleshoot issues, and maintain regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills to a dynamic, fast-paced setting
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (or equivalent relevant experience) 2–5 years of experience in a cGMP-regulated environment Hands-on experience with GC-MS and chemical analysis techniques Proficiency with ChemStation software Familiarity with lab equipment including balances, pH meters, and moisture analyzers Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting Proven ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks Ensure production processes consistently comply with cGMP regulations Conduct GC analysis on in-process samples Perform and oversee all in-process quality testing Maintain and calibrate QC equipment Sample finished product containers as needed Submit samples to third-party laboratories Maintain retain sample inventory Perform instrument verifications Maintain accurate records and generate analytical reports Troubleshoot and conduct routine repairs on lab instruments Resolve instrumentation issues using QC procedures or data-driven insights Follow and implement testing methods as outlined in SOPs Monthly Tasks Participate in internal facility audits Perform magnet verifications Conduct environmental monitoring and surface swabbing Perform allergen verification tests Carry out water sampling and quality testing Additional Support Responsibilities Update documentation and support quality investigations Assist with product trials and testing Participate in safety inspections Ref: #558-Scientific
