The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerizedtomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by aphysician. These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standardprocedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist alsoperforms a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CTscans.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ Years of experience as a CT/X-Ray Tech Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging ARRT, IEMA & BLS Meditech experience preferred, Knowledge of Siemens equipment TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Day Shift (36 hours/week) Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (7:30AM to 8:00PM) No on call! No weekends!
