Job Title: Radiology TechnologistJob Description This role involves working the midnight to 8 AM shift from Monday to Friday, starting at midnight on Monday and ending Saturday morning. The Radiology Technologist is responsible for conducting CT scans and X-rays, primarily handling basic ER procedures with no surgeries involved. This position is highly independent with little oversight and does not require on-call work. The candidate will manage an average of 5-8 exams per night, with a maximum of 16. Responsibilities + Perform CT scans and X-rays, ensuring high-quality imaging. + Handle basic emergency room procedures and any urgent cases. + Conduct morning portable X-rays and input notes efficiently. + Send scans to radiologists outside of the network. + Shut down and restart the CT machine as needed. + Utilize Cannon Achillean 64 CT Machine and Phillips software. + Communicate effectively with doctors and nurses to provide optimal patient care. + Maintain independence in a role with little supervision. + Possibly pick up weekend shifts as needed. Essential Skills + Proficient in X-ray and CT scan operations. + Radiology expertise. + BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. + CPR Certification. + IDNS and ARRT Certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Meditech software. + Ability to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to changing situations. + Strong communication skills. Work Environment Work in a smaller hospital environment where everyone knows each other's name, fostering a sense of community. The role requires high independence and the ability to manage one's own space. The position involves a set schedule with no holidays, providing stability and work-life balance. The facility uses Cannon Achillean 64 CT Machine and Phillips software. The team consists of five people, but the overnight shift is handled independently, collaborating with doctors and nurses as needed.
