Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Radiology Technologist:

 

30 hours/ week availabilityPull, file, and scan all radiological recordsSchedule, perform, and document all radiological testing, including annual tuberculosis testing and emergency proceduresMaintain inventory, stock, re-order, and replace radiology suppliesEnsure that all equipment related to radiology services is properly maintained and functioningEnsure all state regulations are in compliance as it relates to Radiation Control Perform other duties as assignedX-ray callouts and X-ray for urgent patients that are not on call outUpdate exams in BEMR as Pending Results, and update BEMR that reports were receivedScan reports into BEMRSubmit images to the radiologist and pull reports in StatRad.comEnter patient information within CR per each examPull CT/MRI/old films for town tripsBurn CD’s of x-ray studies for town tripsFile x-ray films sent in from other institutionsFile CD’s returned with patients coming back from town tripsMail out films to other institutions as inmate transferPull consults for the following day and put call outs on for the following dayReview consults to make sure they are not duplicatesPrint daily logs of exams completedProgram review of x-ray leadPull IOP reports for radiology each quarter Pull daily radiologic request logsRecord kVp and mAs on each study done every dayRefusal forms for inmates who no longer want their examsHelp with Health Services Perpetual Audit, ACA audits, Program Review, etc.Go to the camp and/or low institution for emergency x-rays as neededSwap out dosimetry badges quarterlyMail out dosimetry badgesGo onto Landaur.com to print dosimetry reports and log them in a folder Qualifications

Qualifications for Radiology Technologist:

 

Availability to commute on-site to the Forrest City, AR office
