This internship provides a variety of human resource assistance to the Processing HR Manager, including recruitment and on-boarding activities, and team member relations. Ensures compliance with company policy and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Partners with HR Team to address HR issues in a timely, confidential, and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Support flight arrangements and track candidate travel dataProvide assistance with all aspects of the H-2B programContribute to recruiting efforts, hiring events, and new team member orientationsFacilitate onboarding tasks, including new hire paperwork, pre-employment screenings, I-9 documentation, and personnel file creationEnsure accurate time and attendance records for payroll processing; prepare hourly payroll data for submissionUphold EEOC compliance throughout the recruitment and hiring processAssist with coordinating team member arrivals and departures at the Portland AirportCreate and maintain accurate Excel tracking files for multiple locationsPerform routine administrative tasks, including filing and document managementSupport additional projects and duties as assignedWhat You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
Pursuit of a Business undergraduate/graduate degreeProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).At least one year of relevant experience or training in a similar rolePreferred
