Regional Team Coordinator Position Summary The Andretti Team Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Operations Team integrate with Human Resource, Payroll and Training Departments in regards hourly staffing, to include onboarding, training of new hires and the maintenance of the overall employee lifecycle for the hourly team members in a region of multiple Andretti locations. Reports directly to: Director of Human Resources and Indirectly to the appropriate Director of Operations. FLSA Status: Exempt Pay Type: Salary   Specific Responsibilities/Essential Functions Recruiting Regularly communicate with DO and GMs with updates about par levels and turnover Open and close hourly requisitions as needed, as communicated by Senior Manager Manage Offer Letter Approval Process and create Offer Letters Input New Hire information on shared New Hire Tracker using info communicated by the Senior Manager in the Offer Request form Use the New Hire Tracker shared with the Senior Manager and GM to aid communication about the progress of each New Hire Send background checks and track status Send onboarding invitations Communicate with New Hires about Orientation dates and associated deadlines Approve onboarding information and documents Communicate preferred names and uniform sizes using the shared New Hire Tracker Activate Pay Cards and input the info into Paycor as needed Initiate I-9 process Create CenterEdge profile(s) Input pay rates into Paycor Create a file in Dropbox which will include the standard folders and Offer Letter/Job Description Communicate when New Hire is ready for Orientation only when the previous steps are complete using shared Tracker Create Andretti University account and note the username on the Tracker After Orientation, check that each New Hire successfully clears E-Verify Check passport photos and correct info as needed If there is a Tentative Noncomfirmation, guide Senior Manager on the correct procedures Send Radar Schedules invitation Terminate employees in all systems after receiving a TMC, including email, CenterEdge, Paycor, Andretti University, and Radar Make employee changes as requested through TMC forms, such as pay changes, promotions, cross-training, rehires, and transfers Manage the training of Senior Managers in Recruiting/Using the ATS, Offer Approval, New Hire Tracker, Drug Testing, Orientation, I-9 and ID requirements, TMC forms, Hourly Employee Reviews, and HR Policies Generate list of Hourly Employee Reviews due for the following month and send to Senior Managers Manage digital storage of Employee Files and Documents Answer general employee questions about benefits, paystubs, and policies   Overall Responsibilities Always support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games Motto “Striving for Perfection, Achieving Excellence” Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner. Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures. Observe and instruct Guests for safety guideline adherence. Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers. Maintain effective presentation skills and be able to answer questions from team leaders, team members, guests, and the public. Be able to work under stress to meet project deadlines and minute attention to detail. Maintain ability to work individually as well as in a team environment. Maintain well-built skills in organization, prioritization, and time management.   Required Qualifications Eligible to work in the United States. At least 18 years of age. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must pass a criminal background check and illicit drug screening. Maintain knowledge of the Andretti Brand and its culture. Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products.   Strongly Preferred Qualifications SHRM, or PHR Certification and/or equivalent HR focused degree. Experience with high volume hiring and training. Experience in a high-volume Family Entertainment Center a plus. Interest in and working knowledge of video gaming and virtual reality experiences. Interest and basic knowledge of motor sports and/or Go-Karting. 3-6 months of Service with the Andretti Brand preferred.   Uniform and Grooming Requirements Andretti will provide uniform shirts and custom nametag upon hire. Employees must provide black work pants, black belt, and black non-slip shoes. Employees must follow all current Andretti policy grooming and hygiene standards.   Physical Requirements The physical demands described are representative of some of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. Be able to safely work in an environment that may include bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
